At Senior Safety Net, our sole focus is YOU.
Tom Feeney was born in Scranton, PA, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton. After graduation, and following brief stints with Arthur Anderson & Co., and as an active duty officer in the U.S. Army, Tom obtained a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Villanova University (cum laude, Villanova Law Review editor and a member of the Order of the Coif, the national legal honor society).
Following law school, Tom joined a high-profile “boutique” law firm located in Montgomery County which focused its practice on high net worth individuals, their respective businesses and their needs in banking and finance, wealth management and preservation, health care, real estate, estate planning and general corporate guidance. Tom worked as a law clerk, associate, partner and, finally, a named partner in that firm.
After 31 years in private practice, Tom joined a group of investors who had purchased a community bank headquartered in Villanova. Tom served the bank for eight years as senior vice president and counsel and, mission accomplished, resigned at the end of 2011.
After a rewarding 40-year career in law and banking (and after discovering that golf can’t be played every day at his age), Tom was offered the opportunity to use his experience and people skills — supplemented by extensive hours of specialized classroom and field training — to help retirees and those planning for retirement to help protect AND GROW the assets they had worked so hard to accumulate. Senior Safety Net is the ultimate iteration of that goal and those efforts, and Tom is extremely proud to be a member of the firm.
Tom has been happily married for over 40 years to his wife Terry. They reside in Montgomery County, PA and have three grown children and four grandchildren.
